Well that's all I got this week. I did go to the used bookstore on Saturday, but for some reason, I didn't get anything. I must have been sick or something as I never go to that bookstore and leave with nothing. Weird. What do you guys think about the books this week? What did you get this week?
I loved Sister Queens. I think you might like it too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I got Roses have Thorns and Shadow on the Crown as well.
I hope you enjoy them and I hope I enjoy them. Happy reading!

Shadow on the Crown is to me one of the most interesting books you have there!
ReplyDeleteHappy readings :)

I am looking forward to Perinot's! I still haven't read anything by Byrd, but I really should. I am just burnt out on the Henry VIII era.
ReplyDeleteI am too..but it was free, so I couldn't turn down free.

Some nice historical novels!
ReplyDeleteThanks..can't wait to read all of them.
DeleteYou should probably see a doctor about that no book thing - it's one thing to leave a regular bookstore without a book but a used bookstore? Clearly you were not well if there were no bargains that caught your eye!
ReplyDeleteI know. It's a serious problem. I was bringing a lot of books there because I was clearing out my shelves and I had been there like a week before scoping everything out. Maybe that's why. I'll go back in a month or so and make up for it when I go and get more books.

All the covers of your mailbox books l;ook great! I swing by from time to time and follow you via Book Blogs. I have a pretty cool giveaway at my http://thebridgeofdeaths.tumblr.com/
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the system makes me sign in with a newer blog I am just building up these days with my co-author for a book we hope to have ready in a couple of months!
Great Blog Kimberlee

Great mailbox. I received Summerset Abbey, too. I can't wait to read it. Shadow on the Crown is on my wish list and The Sister Queens is sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. I hope you enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI know..doesn't Summerset Abbey just look so great. It's the 'Downton Abbey' phenomenon making books like these so popular. I hope it's really good. I know there's a second book in the same series going to be released I think in March. You might want to check that out.

Fear in the Sunlight caught my eye. I love the setting and time period!
ReplyDeleteI've read the others in the series and enjoyed them, so I can't wait to see what's in store for the characters in this one.
